OSC Sr. Minister Named Recipient of Rabbi Murray I. Rothman Award

Old South Church's Senior Minister Nancy S. Taylor has been named the 2011 recipient of the Rabbi Murray I. Rothman Award for outstanding inter-religious leadership. A prominent leader in Newton and adjunct professor at Andover Newton, Rabbi Rothman influenced hundreds of Christian and Jewish theological students. Upon his death in 1997, members of the congregation of Newton's Temple Beth Shalom created the Rothman Award to be conferred periodically upon that person or persons who, in the mind of the leadership of Andover Newton and Temple Shalom, best exemplify the spirit of Rabbi Rothman.
